Darkness in the Delimbiyr
As the Merchant-Lord of Zhedarak, Jemsen Thimblesdotter has a dizzying assortment of duties and responsibilities, but would much rather remain in his personal laboratory, tinkering on yet another curious device or researching some unknown arcane forumlae. Jemsen is a crafty trader and shrewd merchant, but an even better artificer, continuously tinkering with something or other in his lavish, yet eccentric dwelling. He is known to have a stable of no less than three clockwork steeds at his disposal, these arcane and gearwork marvels silently churn and clank him about town.
He resides within a strange but fairly non-descript dwelling that seems to defy any known category, and those that have seen or visited cannot ever seem to explain what it looked like – this is most likely a protective illusion, as Jemsen is known to be superbly adept at weaving such arcane falsehoods.
He has a friendly rivalry with Barfe Stumbleworthy, which leads into endless debates, which in turn lead into practical jokes, and back over to debate. This cycle does not seemingly have an end. He is also rumoured to be the head of the local contingent of The Golden Gear but denies this, due to conflicts of interest; as well as a desire, some say, to do as little work as possible.
